DAY 45: THROWBACK THURSDAY
While going through your photos to back them up in your cloud storage yesterday, were you able to get a glimpse on some history that took you back to a trip down memory lane? Ever wonder how your long-lost friend is doing now, or where your favorite cousin stayed during the shelter in place? Miss those crazy old costumes you wore for school presentations or thinking about re-styling your hair the same as 5 years ago? Or maybe you saw the last picture you took while you were out the day before the lockdown?
Social media has given Thursdays a new reputation by making it the official day for posting Throwbacks - and we’re doing exactly that! Find old photos in your phone or better yet, rummage through old photo albums you have hidden somewhere in your house and post them! Feel free to tag us or comment your photos below.

DAY 44: GADGET CLEAN UP
Most people nowadays are glued to smartphones because of the convenience it gives that makes life a bit more easier. But do you know that as much as you need to declutter your closet, you should also do the same for your phones? Now more than ever, you must have been using your smartphone longer than usual, and since it has been ‘working’ harder for you recently, why not give it some love and attention for today?
We’ve listed down a few tips to complete this task today
1. Back it up and move files like photos and videos to cloud storage
2. Organize apps and folders
3. Delete or uninstall apps you don’t use
4. Clear storage and cache - using your in-house phone manager app or by downloading a cleaner
5. Lastly, and probably the easiest task, is to reboot your phone. Do you remember when you last turned it off then on again? We figured most of you don’t lol, but no worries. We don’t judge :) Rebooting your smartphone is a good practice and you may want to do that often - maybe at least once a day before diving in and using it the whole day.

DAY 43: READ COMICS
Even during these modern days, we know that big comic book fans prefer the feel and touch of an actual comic book in their hands. But we can guess that collecting comic books are for enthusiasts and hobbyists and so, specialty stores may not have been allowed to open during the lockdown, so for now, we’ll try reading them online. And for free!
Some may say comics are old school, but we say it’s classic. The graphics can be colorful and sometimes can be very simple too. The storytelling is also witty and engaging, and with limited script, it captures the reader’s imagination. Yes, it may not be for everybody, but no harm in trying! You can try looking for funny comics or humor strips for starters - like Garfield or Peanuts. Due to the recent events, we need more reasons to laugh for sure!

It’s Monday and it’s a wonderful day to start something new. One good thing that happened during this lockdown is that a lot of people and organizations are doing Free training and classes.

DAY 41: PLAN MEALS FOR THE WEEK
We know it’s a bit sad to think you’ll be spending another week locked down inside your home. But looking at the better side of things, at least it’s a little easier to plan the next 7 days because, well, you’ll just be at home most of the time.

DAY 40: SET-UP VIRTUAL GAME NIGHT
It’s been over a month since this lockdown started and we bet family and friends miss you already. Planning a virtual get-together? Why not take it up a notch and do a virtual game day/ night. No matter what games you decide to play, one thing’s for sure, it will be fun, exciting, and definitely a much welcome break from your day-to-day lockdown routine.
1.Start with a list of who to invite. What’s fun to one may not be fun to some so group your family and friends according to similar interests. You can set up separate game nights for each group.

DAY 38: TRY MEDITATION
It is not easy to take your mind off stressful things especially when locked down in one place without the option of getting out and looking at scenery or socializing with other people.
We think it’s a good time to try Meditation and learn about its benefits for the mind and body. Experts say it will make you discover the rich fullness of the present moment - here and now. You won’t be giving in to distractions, so you have the space to connect with the mind’s creativity and become aware of the stream of thoughts and emotions it produces and acknowledge them.
How to meditate - for beginners (source from link below):
-Find a quiet place and settle on a comfortable chair, bench or cushion.
-You may want to decide how much time you’d like to devote to sitting in the beginning. Consistency is key. Even a few minutes every day will get you off to a great start.
-Take a moment to check in with your posture. Try to find a position that allows you to keep your back straight.
-Set aside your industrious conceptual mind. Breathe. Tune in to the feeling of being present. Take stock of your physical presence as you breathe.
-Note physical tensions and mental concerns. Acknowledge them with kindness and invite them to relax and release.
-Tune in to the process of breathing. Feel the breath in your belly. Don’t concern yourself with analyzing or modifying your respiration, just feel it and center your awareness on the ebb and flow.
-Breathe in: you’re aware that you’re breathing in. Breathe out: you’re aware that you’re breathing out.
-When you notice that your mind has wandered, gently but firmly bring it back to the breath.
-This is mindfulness: training in awareness, acknowledging, letting go and coming home to the breath and the present moment.
-When you are ready to end your meditation session, relax, stretch, and enjoy a moment of gratefulness before picking your busy life back up where you left it, renewed and refreshed.

DAY 37: CLOSET CHECK
How many of you have realized just how much your closet space is cluttered with clothes or items you don’t wear or even need because of the lockdown? Ever heard of Marie Kondo’s philosophy ‘Spark Joy’?
Marie Kondo is a Tidying Expert (with Netflix show to prove it!) and she said, when decluttering or deciding between which items to keep or toss, you must always ask yourself if the item sparks joy.
Yes, it’s a difficult challenge, but you can start with just 5 items. Think about the impact it can do to your life. You can help others by donating these items or hand it down to your little siblings or kids, and you’ll appreciate the extra time it gave you when you had little stuff to go thru when picking what clothes to wear (when you’re an adult, time matters a lot!). Ever heard of why the Billionaires like Steve Jobs or Mark Zuckerberg wear the same clothes almost daily? They say it’s because they want to focus their energy in making more important decisions at work! Great minds think alike.
Saying goodbye to your once precious items is tough but remember that when you’re stuck deciding whether to keep or toss it, always ask yourself if this item still sparks joy and we know you’ll be good to go.

DAY 36: BE THE SUNSHINE
Many of us are under a great deal of stress brought about by the current situation, and having spent most of your time at home with the same people, we’re sure your moods have swung here and there, and tempers have gone way up than usual. Have you thought about doing something nice for them? How about for your other friends and family? When days are this gloomy, it’s difficult to find warmth and joy. And some days, you just have to create your own sunshine!
Today, let’s think of a way to brighten up someone’s day. It can be as simple as calling 10 contacts on your phone, sending a funny GIF thru any chat apps to random friends, creating an ‘I appreciate you’ card and sending them thru email, helping your sister brush and tidy up her hair or posting a ‘thank you’ note on Facebook and tagging all the Frontliners you know!
Don't limit yourself. It can be anything and directed to anyone. Just make sure it will bring a smile to their faces. Try to do it to as many people as you can and for sure, you’ll find yourself having more reasons to smile today, too.
